Managed HR services in Bangladesh

Contracts, onboarding, leave and attendance, policies and offboarding administered by an HR team in Dhaka, so you manage the work and we manage the employment.

Managed HR services in Bangladesh cover the administrative side of employing people: employment contracts, onboarding, statutory records under the Bangladesh Labour Rules 2015, leave and attendance, policies, performance documentation and offboarding. EORBangladesh delivers these for staff we employ under EOR (included in the USD 299 fee) and for companies with their own Bangladesh entity (from USD 60 per employee per month).

What does managed HR from EORBangladesh include?

Employment contracts and appointment letters, document collection and onboarding, statutory registers and service books, leave and attendance administration, a policy handbook aligned with Bangladesh law, performance and disciplinary documentation, and offboarding with final settlement.

How do managed HR services work alongside your managers?

Your manager sets objectives, approves leave in a shared tracker, and raises any performance or conduct issue with our HR team. Nothing is decided about an employee's role or pay without you.

HR administration without an HR department

Client story · anonymised

A UAE consultancy runs a nine-person Dhaka delivery team with no local HR staff

The consultancy employed nine analysts through EORBangladesh and needed leave tracking, attendance, policy documents and periodic performance paperwork without hiring a local HR manager.

We set up leave and attendance records in line with the Labour Rules 2015, issued a policy handbook adapted from the client's group policies, provided the manager with monthly leave and cost reports, and handled one resignation and one replacement hire including equipment return and final settlement.

One monthly report tells me who was in, who is owed leave and what the team costs. That is all I need from HR.Delivery Director, UAE management consultancy

Managed HR questions

What HR records must an employer keep in Bangladesh?

The Bangladesh Labour Rules 2015 prescribe registers and forms for employees, service books, leave, working hours, overtime and wages. EORBangladesh maintains the prescribed records for staff it employs and can maintain them for your own entity under managed HR services; they are available for inspection or audit within two business days.

Can you handle onboarding and offboarding for staff who work remotely for us?

Yes. Onboarding covers contract signing, document collection, payroll registration and equipment provisioning; offboarding covers notice administration, exit paperwork, equipment return and final settlement including accrued leave and gratuity, completed within 30 days of the last working day.

Do you provide employee handbooks and policies aligned with Bangladesh law?

Yes. We provide a policy set (leave, working hours, conduct, grievance, IT and data use, anti-harassment) aligned with the Labour Act and Labour Rules, adapted to your company's global policies where the two are compatible. The handbook is issued in English with a Bengali summary.

How do you handle performance issues or terminations?

We advise on the procedure the Act requires (s.23 for misconduct, s.26 for termination with 120 days' notice or pay in lieu for monthly-rated staff), prepare the documentation, and administer notice or payment in lieu. Decisions on performance remain with you as the manager; the procedural steps are handled by us as the employer or as your HR administrator.
