Employer of Record in BangladeshEORBangladesh becomes the legal employer of your Bangladesh team, runs BDT payroll and NBR tax withholding, and administers statutory benefits under the Bangladesh Labour Act 2006 — so you can start a hire in 5–7 business days instead of the 8–12 weeks an incorporation takes.
Definition
An Employer of Record (EOR) in Bangladesh is a locally registered company that legally employs staff on behalf of a foreign business. The EOR holds the employment contract, runs monthly payroll in taka, withholds income tax for the National Board of Revenue and administers Provident Fund, gratuity and festival bonuses, while the client directs the employee's daily work.

Process
Three steps from a confirmed candidate to a paid employee. You keep control of the role, the manager and the work; we carry the employment.
Send the job title, salary in your currency, start date and the candidate's details. Within one business day we return a compliant BDT package with employer costs itemised.
EORBangladesh issues the employment contract under the Bangladesh Labour Act 2006, collects the national ID, e-TIN and bank details, and registers the employee on payroll and statutory schemes — typically in 5–7 business days.
The employee is paid in taka by the last working day of each month with income tax withheld for the NBR. You receive a single invoice in USD, GBP or EUR with every BDT line visible.

Employment contracts issued by EORBangladesh include confidentiality, IP-assignment and non-solicitation clauses that assign work product to the client. Employee personal data is held on encrypted servers in Singapore (AWS ap-southeast-1) with backups in Dhaka, and is shared only with the NBR, the employee's bank and statutory bodies as the law requires. Our client services agreement includes an NDA and data-processing terms, and we sign GDPR-standard DPAs for EU and UK clients.
US teams: we staff a 14:00–23:00 Dhaka shift on request, giving 4–5 hours of overlap with the US East Coast morning.
Case study
A London-based SaaS company with no presence in Bangladesh wanted to hire two senior backend engineers it had already interviewed in Dhaka. Incorporating a subsidiary would have delayed the start dates by two to three months and created ongoing audit and filing obligations for a two-person team.
EORBangladesh issued employment contracts aligned with the Bangladesh Labour Act 2006, registered both engineers on monthly BDT payroll with NBR income-tax withholding, and set up Provident Fund and festival-bonus administration. The client's finance team receives one consolidated GBP invoice each month with a line-by-line BDT breakdown, and both engineers reported to their UK manager on day one.
We had offers accepted on a Tuesday and both engineers working the following Wednesday. The invoice is the simplest thing our finance team sees all month.VP Engineering, London SaaS company (client since 2024)

Yes. A foreign company can employ staff in Bangladesh without incorporating by using an Employer of Record. EORBangladesh's Bangladesh entity signs the employment contract and carries the statutory obligations, while the foreign company directs the day-to-day work. This avoids RJSC registration, BIDA approval and a local bank account.
Onboarding through EORBangladesh typically completes in 5–7 business days once the role, compensation and the employee's national ID and e-TIN are confirmed. We issue a compliant employment contract, register the employee on payroll and set up statutory deductions; you supply the job description and start date. Incorporating a local entity, by comparison, usually takes 8–12 weeks.
Two parts: the employee's gross salary and statutory employer costs, billed at cost, plus one fixed EORBangladesh service fee of USD 299 per employee per month (USD 249 from ten employees). There is no set-up fee and no local entity is required. See the pricing page for the included and billed-separately table.
